1. What this site is

The Diamond Edit publishes opinion, scene reportage, and editorial commentary on diamonds, jewellery, and the South African trade. Every piece is the column's editorial view at the time of publication.

2. Not financial or investment advice

Diamonds are not a financial instrument; nothing on this site is investment advice, valuation advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any specific diamond, share, or business. The column writes about consumer purchases.

3. Independence

The Diamond Edit carries no advertising, takes no sponsored placements, and runs no affiliate program. Where a dealer is recommended, it is on the column's editorial judgement alone.

4. Fair use of quotation

Pieces may be quoted with attribution and a link back to the original URL on this site. Wholesale republication without permission is not licensed. Press inquiries: press@diamondedit.co.za.

5. Right of reply

Any party named adversely in a piece is given written notice and seven days to respond before publication. Responses received after publication are added as updates rather than overwriting the original.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
